Thanksgiving

Without a camera of my very own, these are some Thanksgiving day pictures from my sister's camera...

1. Mom and the girls are checking out desserts- not that Miss E ate anything. Both of my kiddos had a stomach bug last week which was quite gross.

2. I am modeling Rach's new shoes which made me well over six feet tall -- to put this in perspective, my mom is 5'6" tall. Can you say, "Amazon woman?" ha ha

3. Me and little miss being silly- we can't help it.... we really can't.

I ate so much at lunch that I never bothered with dinner or dessert- that has to be a first for me! I love Thanksgiving!!!! Last week I was most thankful for my carpet cleaner, NyQuil PM, and my husband -who cleaned his fair share of puke/sick kids! I love you, K!!!

By the way, I have finally ordered a new camera and hope to have it by this weekend so I can resume posting everyday randomness.

November News

My camera is dead and I have not bought a new one just yet- I'm waiting to score a great deal next week. That is why there are no pictures to show. Sorry! Hopefully I'll be posting again soon. Until then, here are some updates about the kiddos:

Miss E likes to put on one of her sun hats, throw up one arm and scream, "I'm Dora Cowgirl! YeeHaw!" Her other go-to outfit is her toddler dress-up heals with socks (oh, yes she does) a backwards crown upon her head and a wand in her hand- this makes her "a true princess." Either way, she goes around the house singing a made up song at the top of her lungs. She is so funny.

Mr. J is becoming obsessed with the moon and the planets. He was all upset that Pluto is no longer a planet. I'm not sure if he is mad about the fact that scientists were originally wrong about it OR that it is no longer a planet. He also likes to talk about the phases of the moon and what each one means. I see a solar system art project in the making. ;)

Halloween

So my camera decided to die the night of mom's Halloween party. Perfect, hunh? These pictures are courtesy of my mom, Ape and Amy~ thank you! Miss E was Snow White and Mr. J was Darth Vader. Miss E picked out a disguise as her prize from a game- isn't she cute? J is posing in the tree with his best cowboy buddy. Daddy and I both took turns cutting up the pumpkin that was already rotting- ugh!!! I did roast the seeds, but getting the shells off was just too much work for so little reward. Lastly, we have our princess (the wig did not last very long) with her crown. I hope to put up some trick-or-treating pictures soon.

My Little Pumpkins

We went to the local pumpkin patch tonight. The kiddos were decked out in their Halloween shirts and were super excited. We had to walk around and look at all of them before we made the big decision. I'm not sure what's so funny in the first picture, but J is cracking up. In the second one he is showing how displeased he is to pose and hold hands *GASP!* with his little sister. In the third one he is cheesing it up with Charlie Brown and Snoopy. There is a picture of me just to prove that I actually went somewhere. The last one just amuses me so much- Daddy doesn't care, J is trying to eat his and E is starstruck. I think we'll carve him up on Saturday.

Boo at the Zoo

We took the kiddos to the Zoo Spooktacular last night and it was so much fun! They got to dress up (Darth Vader, Tinkerbell and a Kitty Cat) and trick-or-treat around the zoo. There was plenty of lighted pumpkins, music and animals. We rode the merry-go-round and the girls went to their first rave- ha ha. J watched the craziness and participated a little, but our girls love to dance, dance, dance! After all that excitement, Miss E had to take a little rest. As for Boo at the Zoo... we'll be back next year!

Caramel Apples

What could be better than pizza and caramel apples on a beautiful fall night? We made the kiddos custom-ordered apples:

Now, where did that beautiful fall weather go? Please come back- it is just too hot to be the end of October!

And Then There Were Six

Team Williams has two new additions! Mike & Mandie brought them this morning and we are so excited to have Sooty and Lucky join our crazy clan. J is over the moon since he has wanted a pet more than anything! We kept the secret from him so he had no idea when they dropped them off this morning.

Corn Maze

We went to a local corn maze last weekend with Miss M and her mama. Obviously no one informed the sun that it is October now~ it was so HOT!! Oh my, I thought that I might melt. J was our leader until we decided that we were done and wanted out. The last picture shows Miss E's "tail." She sat on a hay bale and that piece just hung perfectly- so funny.

Haunted House

J wanted to make a haunted house so I bought him a kit from Michael's Craft Store. It was harder than I thought, but he had so much fun putting on the finishing touches. It has a place of honor by our front door for all to see. Boo!

Funny Kid

J really cracks me up. He made me laugh three times today.

I have to set this one up- J loves, loves, loves to scare me. One of his favorite things to do is hide his fake lizards in my pantry. He can be anywhere in the house and will start giggling when I scream. He knows my lizard scream. So, when I went into the kitchen and saw a big lizard I was immediately thinking bad things about J. When the lizard moved its gigantic head I realized this was the real deal. To be honest, I really think it might be part komodo dragon and less of a common lizard- it is that big. Seriously! I ran to his room to wake him up so he could catch it and take it outside. As he was walking down the hall to save me, he said "I can't believe that you woke me up for a stupid lizard!" When he saw the lizard, even he was impressed with the size... unfortunately it ran under the fridge. Ugh! When is daddy coming home???

I must set this one up, too. We were at the store and he saw a 7 UP sign. If you recall, there is a red circle after the 7 in their logo.
J, pointing at sign: Why is that circle there?
Me: I don't know, I guess they like the way it looks.
J: But it is 7 UP, right?
Me: Yes.
J: Is the O silent?
Me: It's not an O, it is a period.
J: No, I think it's an O and it is silent.
Me: Whatever.
The cashier and bagger were listening to us. The teenage boy bagger wanted to know what J was talking about. J told him...
Bagger, trying to be funny: I don't know where you're coming from kid!
J, looking confused: HER (pointing at me)
I snarfed and the cashier busted out laughing.
Bagger: Oh, you're a funny kid, are you?
J: Maybe it is 70 UP! *giggle, giggle, giggle*


For dinner, I made carrots, broccoli and cauliflower. J ate the broccoli and cauliflower and left the carrots on his plate.
Me: you didn't like the carrots? (he normally loves his veggies)
J: I am saving them.
Me: Saving them for what?
J: Mrs. Christy's horse.
I guess he does not like carrots anymore. I did explain that horses like them raw.
