The State of Florida says you need to be 16 years old to drive alone. 

Nay Nay, I say! Four months old is good enough for me.

Our Big Eater!

We decided to feed Little Dude some real baby food at roughly 4 months. I used formula and as you can see below, the first feeding was a complete success. HA!!

As I said, a complete success!

Bowling Like A Boss!

We went bowling for the first time at a friends' birthday party.  Here are some pics of the nuggets in action!

 

Pre-K Time

Miss E is officially a school girl!! This is her the night before her first day of Pre-K.

Nanny's Visit

Nanny came for a visit and we had so much fun with her! She had never been to St. Augustine, so of course we had to take her. The beach was undergoing some major sand resurfacing project so the ground was a mess. A big pain to navigate, but we plowed on like the troopers that we are.

 

Being obsessed with sweets, we made cake pops. Nanny had never made them before and we are self-titled professionals! I think that she had fun making them- she had a wonderful sprinkle helper.

Ev dressed up as Winnie the Pooh. I just think this is too cute.

At the airport... saying good-bye is never fun. We missed her before her plane even took off!! We look forward to seeing her again as soon as possible.

Cookie Cake

I am totally into baking this month!  We made a heart-shaped chocolate chip cookie cake to try out our new pan. It was so easy and loads of fun. I whipped up some quick icing that they piped with our fancy-schmancy Ziplok bags. HA!  

The goal here was obviously maximum taste... spreading the icing out would be completely crazy.  Besides, the Reese's Pieces needed to sit on a mountain of icing, not a river.

Um, WOW!  This is enough sugar to keep Miss E up all night!!

 J was too busy eating.

Happy Coos

I took a video of Ev the other day and found that watching himself has to be one of his favorite things! It is right up there with eating and cuddling. He seriously digs it!  I should video him watching his video... I just might do that.

Cake-y Cousins

E and her cousin, Abbey, made some cake pops earlier this week.  I think that the girls had fun and I know that they enjoyed eating them!  Miss E is holding the same pose in all 3 pictures- obviously she took her job as the sprinkle spreader very seriously.

Missing in Action

Our J finally lost his first tooth!  We were worried about this since all of his friends have lost several teeth already.  We made an appointment with the dentist for Monday afternoon.  Lo and behold, he lost his first tooth the Sunday night prior!  Of course he did.

He was upset that he accidentally threw the tooth away so he wrote this note to the Tooth Fairy:

Not sure if you can read it, it says:
Dear Tooth Fairy,
I'm sorry that I put the tooth in the garbage I thought it was a piece of lollipop

He was excited that he got $5 for the tooth and a note from the Tooth Fairy!  My smart boy must have realized the financial benefit to losing teeth because he lost tooth #2 that very morning at breakfast!  So he went to his dental appointment to see why he has not lost any teeth with what?  That's right... TWO missing teeth! Awesome.

Baptism

Our sweet boy was baptised in the NICU by our Pastor on the day that he was born. I was not able to be there and that naturally upset me. Once we got him home and settled, we had a baptism celebration party. Here are some photos to commemorate this blessed occasion.

Choc Chip Cookie Fakes

I was checking out Bakerella's website last night (http://www.bakerella.com/) and found these awesome looking Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough Truffles (http://www.bakerella.com/chocolate-chip-cookie-dough-truffles/)  I just knew that the nuggets and I had to make them SOON!!!

Chuck E. Cheese's

Daddy has successfully avoided Chuck E. Cheese's... until this past week. We decided to take the nuggets before the school kids get out for summer when the place becomes crazy busy. 

Miss E is showing us her mad hoop skills, she said that she wants to start playing basketball, too.

Little Dude decided to sleep for his first visit.

Miss E likes to pose for the camera even on carousels.

J is serious about getting tickets.  He won 150 tickets on one game and was delighted!

Daddy even cheesed up the photo booth to make a permanent memento.
