Catty Shack

The kiddos and I went to the Catty Shack Ranch to visit some big cats today.  I can't believe how close we were to these amazing animals.  The tiger cubs were adorable, we enjoyed watching them play.  We learned a lot and had a blast.  We will definitely be going back!

Legoland

We took the kiddos to Legoland last week with our homeschool group.  J is a coaster fanatic and E is not.  It was nice because there were many things for both of them to do.

Downtown Disney

We went to Downtown Disney the night before Legoland and naturally had to do some posing.  The kiddos with the Winnie the Pooh gang and Daddy had to show us his best Dr. Doofenschmirtz impression- I think he nailed it!!  If his face is any indication, J does too.

Gender-reveal Cake

Team Williams celebrated Valentine's Day by finding out if our newest member is a he or a she.  Let me just say that I was WRONG!!!  We are having a boy!!!  No doubt about it, Ape made us a delicious blue cake.  Only J guessed right.

A giant thanks to Ape & Kelly for ensuring that the reveal was a complete surprise.  It was definitely a Valentine's Day that I will never ever forget.

Creature of Habit

I must be a creature of habit, either that or my 6-year-old has keen insight.  All 4 members of Team Williams were in Target.  As we were walking to the boys' section, I passed the women's section and there was a 70% OFF CLEARANCE section.  J & Daddy were ahead of me and I heard J say, "Clearance!  70% off!  Well, that will get rid of her."  Daddy and a few other shoppers found that amusing.  I just appreciated the heads-up.

This morning I was programming the TV for the week.  On Tuesday night, I clicked on The Biggest Loser.  He stared at me and said "Of course, you programmed The Biggest Loser!"

Cake Pops

I was given a Baby Cakes machine for my birthday (thanks MJ and Eta!!) and have been very excited to use it.  Today, the nuggets and I mixed up some vanilla cake batter and made some cake pops.  We had fun and they taste super yummy.  They will be a fun addition to our little tea party this afternoon.

Ultrasound

We are excited to announce that we are expecting a new member to Team Williams in May of this year!  We do not know if we are having a boy or a girl just yet. In this sonogram picture, it looks like our little mystery baby is putting his/her finger to his/her lips as if saying "shh!"

The ultrasound tech did put a photo of the baby, noting the sex, in a sealed envelope.  To make the moment special, we are going to find out as a family on Valentine's Day.  Ape is making us a gender-reveal cake!  The outside is going to be nondescript, but the actual cake is going to be pink or blue.  So, as we cut into the cake, we will find out if we are getting a boy or a girl.  We are very excited and all of a sudden 2 and 1/2 weeks seems like a LONG time from now!

We are taking bets- J thinks that we are having a boy.  Daddy, E and I all think this is a girl.  My reasoning- this pregnancy is much more like E's than J's.  I crave beef, I am super emotional and my morning sickness lasted 23 weeks... just like with Princess.    

Basketball Star

J started his first team sport- basketball.  He LOVES it and is even becoming a basketball fan.  Looks like I am going to be learning all about basketball. 

At the second game of the season, J scored the first basket of the game- a very exciting moment!  It was so sweet because he made the basket and then turned to look at me to make sure I was watching.  I definitely was. I truly enjoy watching my kids learn new things and have new experiences.

Maybe we have a basketball star on our hands... we'll see.  If not, like he says- having fun is what matters.  :)

Hello Kitty party

Miss E turned 4 this month and we celebrated with a Hello Kitty party.  She helped me set the table the night before and was very interested in where all the decorations went.  She was quite decisive when she picked out her cake from the Publix bakery book.  She was even specific about what food she wanted served.  All in all, she was the decision-maker concerning HER party.  It was very cute- this is a girl who knows what she likes!

The night was fun and I know that she enjoyed spending time with some of her favorite people.  She's posing with her bestie in the last photo. 

I can't believe that she has been in our lives for four years now, I can't imagine not having my sweet LuLu.

She is already planning her 5th birthday... she says that it is going to be Strawberry Shortcake party.

Ponder this

When E woke up this morning, she looked at Daddy and said, "If I were you and you were me, I would give you a snack!" Who needs a "good morning?"  HA!
