My sweet J is 6 years old now! It is amazing how much life changes in just one year. This was his first birthday party not at home. We saw Disney's Mars Needs Moms in 3-D. There were so many boys! It is amazing how many boys God has blessed my friends with. The kids took a tour of the snack area (tasted some banana cotton candy) and saw the movie equipment- here is J wearing the technician's coat. After the tour, he opened presents and cut his yummy cookie cake. We really lucked out and had an entire theater to ourselves. The kids all sat together with their own little snack packs.
Afterwards we had an "after party" at my house with some family and friends who did not make it to the movie party. He really enjoyed playing the Wii and hanging out with everyone. All in all, I think that he had a fun birthday weekend.
